I have a tilt trim unit that leaks down after it is tilted up, I once bought the two valves that you can change in the valve body. That was about 6 years ago, anyone know where I can buy these? I need part numbers and a place to buy them. Please help, This fixed the problem once before. These are the ones that are held in by snap rings.
The motor and boat have been sitting for 4 years.
Thanks
Chris

if you only got six years out of them then something went wrong. Maybe your fluid has additives?

They are no longer available. If you want to hunt for NOS then look up a 1974 Evinrude 85HP power TILT parts dagram. You will have better luck finding NOS with the EJ number than the Chrysler. I don't think there are as many old EJ's still running as Chrysler/Force so there haven'y been as many people before you asking about the same parts. You could carve one out with a pen-knife in less time than you'll find a dealer who still has the force part.

wow. thanks for posting this. F17620 is off the NLA list for me too. $80 for a pair is a really good price. Suggested list is about $70 each.

Got the valves rebuilt with the briggs and strattong carb kit posted on another thread. It works perfect.
