Hello all, hope someone can help me out, ive read several threads hopeing somebody has had the same issue
ive got, but havnt seen one so im posting, the ram comming out of the trim cylider is froze solid, and I guess
with the engine hitting it in the water it has caused damage to the cylider cover, 1 of the screws has broke in half,
another the housing has broke away from it, trim was working when i put the boat in, but during the
day lost all trim control and had to lift the engine manualy to get it out, there is still pressure in the system
cause you couldnt just lift it, one person had to hit the trim up while the other 2 lifted the engine, ive
checked for replacement on it and nobody sells the stuff for it anymore, plus even if i could find a
replacement i dont even know what caused it to frreeze up..
If anyone can help it would be very much appricated.
I attached a photo, or at least i hope i did.
On a side note, can this be rebuilt?
