Hi Mthomasff,<br />Ipersonaly think the motor is to small for the boat. You may not be able to pull a water skier. What was rebuilt and why concerns me as these were not that bad of motor in a small boat. For my liking a V6 motor would be the only thing I would buy<br />in an 18ft boat. However everone has a different usage. Take it out for a test fun with the family so you know how it works with a load in it.<br /><br />...have fun...corm
