I have a lead on a 1985 140HP motor that I could get for cheap. I also have a buyer lined up for my 2.5L motor. Now I know that 20HP is not that much but the 140HP also comes with power steering.
What are the differences or what do I need to swap with the block?
From searching I have not found definitive info.

The engine setup swap would be easy but the power steering setup could be very hard to piece together. You really don't need power steering on those.

The power steering is already on the 140hp motor. I am buying it complete with accessories. From research the steering ram will bolt right up to my transom plate and cable.

Awesome, good to hear. I had read about crank, flywheel, coupler and exhaust differences. Plug and play sounds way better. Thx
