1989 200 Evinrude. For the last two weeks, when I start out the dash meter shows charging 13 volts. After about 2 hours it's droped to 12 volts and another two hours it's down to 11 volts. (all speeds) Also, for the last four months, the tach works intermittently (usually better under two thousand rpm).<br /><br />Both batteries are fully charged at the start.<br />One is new (cranking) one is old (deep cycle)<br />All connections are clean and tight<br /><br />Any ideas what may be wrong? Thanks - Jim<br /><br /><br />08/01/05 - Replaced the Regulator/Rectifier. Charges at 14.5 and Tach works once again.
