1989 3.0 ignition switch 1989 3.0 mercruiser

Just recently bought a boat with an 89 3,0 mercruiser would like to start the motor ,but the ignition switch is missing would like to know which wires from the harness i have to jumper together to get it running also if there is a nuetral switch which colores would they be thank you

you could just jumper the wires where the switch was located in the dash??

or...

install a new switch??

The red to purple gives you ignition.
Red to yellow/red operates the starter.
Neutral safety switch is in the shift/throttle control.
