I just bought an 1989 45 horsepower Mercury. I am not getting any water flow through the water cooling jacket. Installed new water pump still no flow. I back flushed through the telltale and I'm getting water out the plug on the back and the exhaust. I pulled the foot of again and the water tube is clear but when I blow through it or try to force water through it I can't. It seems to be restricted in the exhaust plate under the head. Any ideas? The motor runs great. Just having cooling problems.
