1989 9.9hp or 15hp 2-stroke drive shaft

I am looking for a drive shaft for a 1989 9.9hp or 15hp 2-stroke. The part number is 6E7-45501-01-00. The question I have does anyone know if this part is interchangeable with another motor? I know the later Yamaha 4-stroke shafts look very similar in the diagrams and also the earlier Mariners as well. But I can't find any information or cross reference details on any of them. Of course the shaft I have is the most expensive of them and a used one is very hard to find.

check to see if the part #s are the same as yours. I not then I would think they are different
