I have spent a good part of today reading my factory manual for my 1989 DT 150 Super Six but have not found what I need to fix a low water pressure issue. Here are the details. While warming up my engine on the lake I had a water pressure reading of about 8PSI at an idle which has been standard for my engine for a few years now. After idling for about a minute or so the water pressure gage went to zero but water was still coming out of the PEE hole a little but not like normal. I took the boat home and replaced a good impeller with another good impeller, pulled the lower unit of and held a garden hose to the water tube and it is clear but there is alot of water comming from the exahust tube and I think the seals need to be replaced in the water tube. How do you remove the tube? Do I have to srip the engine down from the top or is there a trick to get the water tube out from the bottom? Any advice would be great
