1989 Evinrude 9.9 Lower Unit Lube

I have several old (50s and 60's) outboard so I'm not used to working on one this "new". I'm doing maintenance on a friends outboard and wondering what oil should in the lower unit. Is it Hypoid 90?

EP 80W/90 is the correct viscosity grade but an outboard gear oil is preferred because it contains additional inhibitors and emulsifiers to guard against the effects of water ingress
