NEW TO OUTBOARDS CHANGED LOWER OIL, WHEN I TILTED MY MOTOR INT TRAILER POSITION NOTICED A LITTLE OIL MIXED WITH WATER DRIPPING DOWN, IS THIS NORMAL ? IT HAS NOW STOPPED.
Dipping down from where?<br />What color was it?<br />If it was black, you are ok. This is normal exhaust residue.<br />If another color, get back to us with the details.
Well, lower unit oil should be golden/clear, unless it is mixed with water, then it would be milky colored. I'd run it a few times, recheck the oil in the lower unit after each use. Probably nothing to worry about.
