A few years ago I got my motor rebuilt from the block on up, it costed me a pretty penny, after the rebuild I used it for the rest of the season and loved it. Unfortunetly when the next season started I had to store the boat for 3 years before I got it back out this year. In that time I would guess mice may have gotten to it as the entire motor cover was full of bedding and urine and such. We got the boat out and tested the trim, it worked, we started the motor, it kind of worked, one side of the motor has spark while the other doesn't. Over this season money has been tight and I would much rather fix it myself but I don't wanna go replacing something like the stator if I don't have to. Also, over the past couple months the trim has stopped working. Need some ideas please!
Recap:
-1989 Johnson 200
- Spark on one side of motor
- Trim worked earlier in season now it doesn't
Thanks,
Robert
