1989 Johnson 8hp

I have a 89 8hp Johnson made in Belgium #B7956850 I am being told that I should use a 100 to 1 mix! Is this true

You could, but the other 99.9% of us would suggest 50-1 (and welcome to the greatest little boating forum in the cyber boating world!)<br />PS. I would not put too much faith in the Made in Belgium...but I could be wrong
