1989 mariner 200hp water pressure valve

I have concluded that my water pressure valve<br />is faulty. I have noticed that there are several<br />components to it but only a couple keep popping up<br />Thepoppet valve and pressure spring valve. I found where to get them but is this all that I need buy.<br />thanks

You will probably need a new diaphram, gaskets for the cover and plate, and possibly new grommet...<br /><br />Check this link and you will see all the components... I hope this matches your engine, without the serial # I can't be sure...<br /><br /> poppet

My poppet did not work properly. I was overheating at idle. All I replaced were the diaphram and the gaskets. the moter purrs. Hope this helps.<br /> Dead Eye
