The rubber cowl seal is falling apart on my '89 Mariner 25hp.
I looked up the price of a replacement and promptly passed out. When I came to, I thought for a bit and then wondered if anyone else here had come up with an alternative seal. I notice some extruded rubber seal material is sold by the foot on McMaster Carr.
Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!
