Hello All, I have purchased 2 carb kits for my outboard. I would like some assistance in replacing the parts. Some of them are very small and I not sure where they should be removed/replaced. The kits are 1395-9650. An exploded view would be great. I am from Hamilton Ontario Canada and if you could recommend a GREAT marine mechanic in the area would also be appreciated.

Every novice appears to pick on the carburetors as the scource / solution to the problem.--------What is the motor doing not doing ??--------There are some dealers in Hamilton that have been around for a long time , so they are good but not cheap.---------Repairing those carburetors is actually very simple !!

Carburetor kits typically contain a few extra parts because those kits service several different carbs. Just because the parts are there doesn't mean they must be used.

So, I have torn apart one carb so far. I got the big plug out but the 4 smaller ones I can't seem to get out. Any suggestions. 20160723_153255.jpg

It was suggested to me by a tech to do carb kits first. They wanted to charge me $350 so I got the kits for $100 and doing it myself. So the reason doing the carbs as well as it will not idle properly, when running full tilt it bogs down and stalls so I figure that doing the carbs first then timing it would probably resolve some issues. The carbs were also leaking too.
