1989 mercury xr4 small case ???

I just bought this motor and think it has a small case lower unit how do i know for sure? And if it is what prop do i run. I understand they are a little more difficult to find. THis is going on a 18ft kenner bay boat. I think i will start with a 17 or 19 pitch prop. I swapped from a johnson v4 so i am starting over with this motor.

The "small" gearcase has a 4 1/4" bullet, the "large" case is 4 3/4".

Ok mine is 4 1/4 so is a small case. what would be some options for a prop? I would like a stainless steel.
I have a prop for a johnson that spun a hub can i rehub for a mercury? I do not know what it is other than 13 1/4 by 17.

Generally speaking the props for your gearcase are in the 13 to 14" diameter range. Yes you can rehub your prop so it will fit on the Merc. You may have to play with the trust washer and spacer but no big deal.
