My son and I acquired a used run down 16'7"fishing vessel .We are going all the way through it we have gutted the hull made sure none of the solid rivets are loose or leaking, installed a new 1/2 marine grade plywood floor and made a new transom for it and back with the finish .All going great BUT there?s an aluminum trim that runs just under the side left and right interior that has this fake wood like trim tape that?s about 4" wide and 70" long in a red oak finish that needs to be replaced but I can?t seem to find this stuff nowhere not even 3M.Can anyone know what I?m writing about and can help me beautify this project.

Any sign place that makes graphics for cars or vehicle wraps can print that on vinyl and then they laminate a uv protectant layer onto it. It will withstand a marine environment. I use these people and you may find some local shop that does the same type of work. http://awesomegraphics.com/ I do know that the limit on length is 60" but they would do it in pieces.

Alternate method would be contact paper but I doubt that would hold up.
