Most likely wood deck, stringers, and transom.

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard,...

I'm sure it was built with Wood,...

You'll have to dig in to see if there's any left....

What is the best way to see if this boat has dry rot? Someone told me to see if the bolts tighten up on the motor mounts. If the do there shouldn't be rot. If they don't there is a good chance you have it. Is this true and what other ways are there to determine if a boat has dry rot?

Welcome to iboats.

Test holes with a drill.

Get some 3m 5200 available at Home depot or even some good 2 part epoxy (such as JB weld).

Use a 1/4" drill (or a bit not too small and not much bigger) and from the interior drill test spots in a few spots in the stringer's (along the bottom edge of the stringer's close to the hull) and the lower portion of the transom and close to the outdrive in the transom. Only need to drill in 3/4 " which is not deep enough to go through.

If the chips are wet....... you have water infiltration and problems. Rub them between your finger's and you will tell.

If the chips are dry ........ fill those holes right back up with 3m 5200 (which will flow back out but a piece of tape will hold it in the hole) or with JB weld.

The wood chips will tell the story. The stringer's at the low spots, the bottom of the transom and near the outdrive mount are the spots to check. Some people have actually found water escaping when they drill, some find wet wood, some find rotted wood and some find NO wood because it has rotted away under the fiberglass.

Look at signs of water such as brown water stains too.
