1989 SeaDrive 1.6 Litre Skipping

Runs on two starboard cylinders. <br /><br />We have compression, fuel, and spark. How do we eliminate the triggers and stator from the powerpack?

Thanks anyway. Now I wonder if maybe the fuel pump is bad. Too much time to think about it I suppose.

Do you have the shop manual? They are available for that engine. I doubt that the problem is the fuel pump if it will run on two. Your post is confusing as if you have compression, spark and fuel + it is running on 2????????

No manual. However we finally traced the problem to a short in the ignition switch. New switch, no skipping.
