I might be inheriting this boat from my father in law and all though my wife and i love to ski we also enjoy wakeboarding and are thinking of putting a tower and possibly some ballast. I do not know enough about this boat or what the motor can or can not handle. Any information would be greatly appreciated and also if anyone knows if it is possible to wrap these boats of this age as well.

Re: 1989 Ski Supreme

As I am sure you already know, these boats were designed with one thing in mind; flat wakes at high speeds for skiing and footin' and big rollers at lower speeds for boarding. Typically the engines are adequate for almost anything you want to do (short of trying to pull half a dozen slalom skiers up at once). I don't know how the older boats were constructed (i.e. if they had sealed compartments for pumping in water for ballast or not)

What do you mean by wrapping? Shrink wrapping?
