I have my vro2 pump disassembled because it appears to be getting weaker. All the the diaphrams look good with no cracks and the rubber all looks good. I was wondering if I could leave the oil piston out to make it eaiser for the diaphrams to pump. Is this a good idea? Do i have to put anything in its place? I am mixing my oil.

The oil side is not user serviceable. You shouldn't have taken it apart.

the piston removes from the fuel side. Just wondering if I could leave it out.
