where is it on this model? It has been sitting for a few years im sure it needs a new inpeller.
Yep still looking for the maunual. I would guess its in need of repair, not in water. I hooked up the hose to the unit with ears and no water came out top at holes. I wonder must it be submersed in water first. Thanks for the info.Get a manual to help you along though. You really need one!!!
It's in the lower unit. 8 bolts total need to come off the lower unit to remove it so you can see the housing. The two tricky ones can be found at the zinc tab. At the very back/top of the lower unit, take off the black rubber cap and look down there. There's a bolt holding the zinc tab on. Once you remove the zinc, you will be able to see yet another bolt hidden behind that. After those two bolts come off, the other 6 are easy to see.

Sitting for 3 years alone would necessitate a new kit, but an old one that has then been sitting...
NO DOUBT!!!! Get 'er done! EZPZ!
Not sure if you have a Boat House by Boater's World in Tampa, here in Ft Myers they have been able to locate all the parts I have needed for my 93 200TXRR. Takes a few days to arrive and sure isn't a budget store but they have it. I would definitely change out the entire impeller/pump kit. If the motor has been sitting you may also have crap in the "pee stream" hose and tip in the engine compartment, I sure found a ton when I inspected mine. blew some air in and presto.
