1989 Yamaha 2-stroke no stream

I wonder how many 2 stroke engine models yamaha had in the 89 model line up.

Not used for 10 years, not knowing if it was replaced, not much to think about regarding impeller replacement. It's dirt cheap compared to a new power head so why not replace it so you know its good. A Yamaha service manual is written by or for Yamaha, their manuals will be the best for that engine.

well they made them for the US and other markets from 2hp to 225 hp in 89. my belief is they made way more than 6 two stroke models in 89. without knowing what model yours is there is not much I can say

good deal.
look in your manual to see if your model has a pressure control valve as well. make sure the grommet is in good shape if it does.
