1990 150 on 86 bayliner evinrude gas restriction problem?

there is some black **** in my gas tank and it keeps clogging the gas feed into the engine.. i have 14 gallons of gas in there what can i put in the tank to dissolve that stuff.... its an inboard gas tank,,1986 bayliner

You cant. Pump it out and start over. Once you do that put a fuel and water seperator on it. You have probably already gummed up your carbs.

Good. You cant fix the old gas.

o .. its not old gas that is in there.. it was completley empty except for that black stuff in there... i put fresh gas in it...

I had exactly the same problem, on an 86 Yamaha, inboard tank. I did the deed removed the tank took it to a gas tank specialty place, had it cleaned and pressure tested reinstalled. Maybe on one of these places has a method of cleaning the tank while in place.
