1990 270 Monticello

Hi all. I am contemplating the purchase of a 270 Monticello. Is there anything you folks can share about this particular model. Like, dislikes, things to look out for.

Welcome to the forum! Not familiar with that model, I'm sure someone in here has some info for you however.

I just bought a 1989 Monticello 270 in early October. Had it out once for an overnighter, really enjoyed it. Live in Wisconsin, so that was the last nice weekend for boating, looking forward to spring. I don't have any dislikes yet. Check it over good (engines, interior, seating, etc), if everything checks out I wouldn't hesitate in buying it. Where are you located.

Glad you enjoy your boat. We like the roomyness fo the cabin. We completed the survey last week and it went great. No problems. The boat was extremely well taken care of. Now the long wait until spring for the seatrial. Here's a couple of pics.

Can't ask for any better than that. From experience a well looked after second hand vessel can be less hassle than the fettling that seems to go with every new one I've seen lately.
