1990 3 hp Evinrude specs.

Hey All,

Just purchased a 1990 3 hp Evinrude 2 cylinder and am trying to collect information about it. I read that it is a salt water motor and water cooled but I have yet to find the mix ratio. I figured on going with 50:1 for my "barrel" test and tune, but wanted to be sure of the manufactures specs. on that before i went out on the lake and put a load on it. Anybody have one of these or have pecs. on it? Model # E3BRESR. Thanks

Yes, 50:1 mix of TCW-3 oil. Suggest you find at least an owner's manual for this kind of info, and the OEM service manuals are also available in various places, especially on eBay. Of course there are many here who will be happy to help also.
