What is your engine s/n?

Just read through your previous posts. What happened to your engine and why did it cost so much to repair or did the shop try to screw you?

Shop said everything would be rdy.. went to pick it up and now it doesnt idle unless the fast idle leaver is up or its in gear.

they said that a cylinder is gone b/c the engine ran lean for too long (compression test-140-140-28-110) and that it'll cost a few thousand to fix. Funny thing is the boat runs 33 mph, 3 mph faster top speed now that they cleaned the carbs. And it sounds perfectly fine.

You didn't include your s/n for the engine. I need it to see if I have the correct manual for you.

Easiest thing for you to do is your own compression test and see what is really going on.
