1990 90 Hp Evinrude No Spark

1990 90 Hp Evinrude No Spark, Went Out Fishing, For 6 Hours, No Problems. Motor Ran Great, Took It Home, Did The Wash-down, Went To Flush Motor, Motor Won't Start. It Will Turn With Plenty Of Juice, But No Spark On Any Of The The Coils. Please Help.

check kill switch first..I suspect it is your problem..

Also, check the lanyard on the emergency kill.

You could disconnect the large red plug at the engine and jump the starter - that will bypass the kill circuit. Be prepared to manually choke the motor or cut off the fuel to stop it.

Kill Swicth Is Working

If you want spark you don't want the kill switch to be working at the time - that's the point.

what i was saying was that the kill switch was working by completing the circuit.
