Guys, been a while since I've had to post in the ol' Force section.
However I have an issue with a 'no start' situation on my 1990/90hp Force. This has the light blue (prestolite) coils, etc in it.
It turns over fine and it seems to have fuel but it isn't sparking anything at the moment.
Any ideas as to some quick checks I can give it to check for power, voltage, or status would be greatly appreciated.
Notes: the dash safety switch/lanyard is fully plugged in so I think that is good....battery power is good.
Where to check to start sorting this out?
Also, was running well at the end of last season and this is the first time this year I've started getting it ready to run (busy season for me)
Anywhooo, any light you guys can shed on this as to where to start in the troubleshooting stages I'd love to hear about.
Many Thanks!!

disconnect the 2 white wires on the wiring block on the starter side those are the kill wires for the cdi boxes then try and start it if it starts there is a short or broken wire on the boat side of the wiring

Ok....sounds like a good place to start. I'll try to post a few pics as I go as well.
Important note is that I have a bunch of spares including coils and CDI units in case one of them is bad....although i don't know what would suddenly cause that over seasonal storage??
Many Thanks and keep the input coming! I appreciate it.
