bought a thermostat from iboats... for my boat motor.... triple checked it...but it does not look at all like the one that i removed....not even close, new one is 1/3rd smaller.... i checked and the one that was in the motor was a 1979 75 hp thermostat...so i put the new one in,but it seems like its way too small....the older one has a much bigger and wider brim..... and a pyramid like cap on it....thoughts??
