Asking a question for a friend. He has a 1990 90hp 3 cyl Force engine. S/N 908F90B.
In the recent past he switched out all the electrical engine wiring from a parts engine. Was able to start the engine after making the switch. Ran for only a short moment (guessing 10 seconds) and was turned off. Sat for a month or so in his shop. Recently tried to start again and no spark at the plugs, starter operates normally. He is suspecting the wiring running to the igniton switch, much of it bare, corroded or crumbling. Does anyone have a wiring diagram that would pertain to this engine, and which wire is the hot to the engine wiring from the ignition. His guess is the red wires that go to a circuit breaker on the bottom of the junction strip. Thanks in advance for any help. JH
