hey all,
ive went and got myself a new boat,
i purchased the engine and boat from seprate dealers. the problem im having is when it starts.
i primer the bulb, press in the choke and it starts but it sounds like it sneezes and then it stalls.
ive olnly had the boat out 4 times an everytime its happened wether its a cold start or just have been out for a while.
i flushed it out today on the muffs and it didnt do it.
should i got back to the dealer or is that something that the yammys do??

ps the motor has a 50% parts and labour for 60 days

Welcome to Iboats.

You should take the motor back to the dealer to correct the problems, these ear not normal operating conditions; the sneeze indicates a possible lean condition, serious damage to your motor can occur if your run it lean, the carbs need to checked, they should also perform a tune up and link and sinc, this along with carb work should correct the stalling. Good luck.

Do you use the CHOKE ??
There is no choke in the key, the choke is the switch under the key in 1990 model.
Or is it an Prime start model, I dont think so.
