1990 AQ740A riser gasket instalation proceedure question.

I read what bruceb58 posted but it says that does not apply to pre 1993 engines. So what do I do? Assemble dry? Really gonna miss Don.

Find it hard to be any clearer. Riser gasket installation. AQ740A. Do I use permatex coppercoat on pre 1993 engines or do I assemble it dry or what?

I do not know what you do for pre 1993 engines.

Are these OEM gaskets?

yep. Very soft material. Has a surface almost like they have been neversiezed. Think I will go back dry pending any better info.
