1990 Evinrude 115

My grandpa has a 1990 model ranger with 90 model 115 hp evinrude on the back. When he takes it out and the motor is running his alarm keeps going off. He has taken it to the shop and they said it was something with a sensor for the oil. They replaced the sensor and ran the boat without a problem but a few trips later it was doing it again. Some trips it goes off more than others but the guys at the shop said that they believed they fixed the problem. Where do we begin?

When tha alarm goes off is it steady, stays on all the time, or does it pulse, just beeps every second or two?

It is like a whistle for about 4 or 5 seconds and then fades off. Then it does it again.
