Am I completely blind or is there no classified/used parts section on iboats? I have a 1990 Force 90 powerhead, minus the electronics, that is in perfect condition and collecting dust in my garage. Too specific to find anyone through CL, and eBay is a joke when it comes to stuff like this... Anyone in the Chesapeake Bay region need a replacement powerhead with perfect compression?

No selling on the site.
Read the rules.
They sell parts on here and don't want the competition.
I know a powerhead isn't something they sell but they need to draw a line somewhere.
Maybe keep an eye on the posts and maybe someone will post about a blown head or something and you can send them a PM.
E-bay or CL is a pain but they're about the only option.
I sell lots of stuff on both.

Gotcha. That's unfortunate, I understand the concern since they sell parts. Would be nice if they would let people sell stuff that obviously doesn't interfere with their business. Cant think of a better place to come look than iboats with all the users for some very specific part for an old boat that isn't sold at retail anywhere. Obviously ban stuff like ignition components and props and the like. Just seems like a huge waste that most online forum communities utilize... I think the increased site traffic and draw would outweigh the loss, but just my opinion. Anyways, one of the mods can probably go ahead and delete this thread for obvious reasons...

Yea I wish they had a site for selling things.
I got some 40-50hp trim/tilt stuff I'd like to get rid of.
OOOPS did I just place an add??? :)

if you test the compression on the head for each cylinder and then put pics of that on craigslist it will sell (be reasonable in price) - i sold an 85hp engine this way this year that I picked up just for the lower unit - made money on the deal - and it had 1 dead cylinder.
