Hi All. Ok, this winter I want to remove the old "back to back"/Lay down lounger" seats, as they are starting to crack and tear, and come loose from the pedestal they are mounted on. Now, I know I can order some really nice replacement back to back seats..but just NOT sure what I need. The stock seats are sitting on a carpeted pedestal, that I believe, is built into the floor of the boat. I could be wrong, but the floor carpet goes up onto the pedestals. SO.....do I order new seats that are already mounted on a pedestal, or do I order seats that don't have a pedestal, and mount them on the current ones?

Any help with my questions would be great. Thank you

Dan

I'd love to reupholster them..but the seats look like they have some pretty intricate folds, cuts, etc..plus that finished "rounded" edge on all the seams...looks impossible to me. I did take it to a reupholsterer this summer, and got a quote of $3000 to redo the entire boat. OUCH!!!

I don't know where you're at - but I know a guy with a FourWinns 19 that would be a good parts boat that he'd love to have towed away. Interior is shot - but motor looks great..

I'm thinking the ones without IF you can get all of the measurements on them and know they'll fit right in the pedestal and extend without hitting anything.

yeah...easy enough for me to TAKE measurements of my current setup..and I know that several of the boat seat places that sell them online have the height, width, depth, etc all listed. I'll have to do some checking I think.
