1990? Johnson VRO 70hp

Hi Ya my friends over the pond. 1st posting so please bear with me. I have had this engine for a number of years, and have had no trouble with it. It has now decided it needs some TLC and I am in the process of giving it some. There does not appear to be a number which corresponds to others I have seen on this board. Only available number is on 1" diameter plug on top of block. It reads:- 07554152. Any help in identifying age please.Many thanks.

there should be a number on the transome bracket number should look something like this<br /><br />E70TLEIE -- (this is for my 1991 70hp evinrude)<br /><br />but this will help us determine year and prodive you with better help
