I just bought a 1990 Sea Ray with a 115hp 4cyl cyl 2 stroke. Sat for about a year so I replaced fuel and oil lines, had a quarter tank of old gas so I topped it off with good gas and a fresh battery and took it out twice and ran perfectly. Took it out today and it powered down and shut off. Won't hold idle and I have to take the linkage off and open the throttle to get it to start, then it smokes out and only idles around 2300-2500 rpm. No power and won't idle any lower. Have plenty of fuel to all the carbs, filter is good, plugs are good, etc. Any help please? This is my first outboard motor and I know nothing about them.
