The boat mfg (not engine/drive mfg) usually picks the prop based on the engine, drive ratio, and boat/hull combination. The most common mercruiser props are 14.5 X 19P X 3 and 14.25 X 21P X 3, but ones with pitch from 17-23 would be possible.

There is no such thing as a stock prop for a 3.0. Look at the sticky at the top of the prop forum and get back with the specs needed, and one of the good prop guys can help you pick a prop. Also, are you looking to improve anything, top end, hole shot?

If you are just looking to replace a banged up prop, what are the numbers off the old prop?
