i need desperiat help i have a 90 omc cobra 2.3 and need lower unit friend has a 79 omc with the chevy 4cyl. in it will it fit my boat

No. That '79 OMC wouldn't even make a good anchor.

eBay, sterndrive.com, google, etc. Lots of places sell drives for Cobras.
