Looked inside the carbs when throttle lever was in the WOT position. The plates inside the carbs is definately not open all the way in fact only open maybe a third of what it should be. Also when engine is in reverse I have to position throttle lever all the way down just to get enough throttle to move the boat. I checked things out as far as anything being loose or missing, etc...everything seems to be ok visually. Is it possible the cable is just completely worn or stretched out and needs replacing? Is there anything inside the throttle and shifter control box i should look at that could be causing the problem? Also wondering if anyone could walk me thru how to adjust the throttle cable?
