You will need to do that to replace the cable. <br /><br />After reading Stuart's article you will see that there are two ways of setting the shifter bellcrank angle at the drive. One is to use a square and the other way is to rent a tool from your local dealer. <br /><br />I would also suggest renting or buying a drive alignment tool. This will align the gimbal bearing and the engine coupler.
