Came in from fishing and after raising boat on lift I noticed water draining from lower cowl. Took off cover and found lower cowl full of warm water. Tilted and drained water. Lowered back in water and started. There is a healthy stream of water running down between starboard head and cover that is between the heads. I'm unable to tell if the leak is originating from the head or the cover adjacent(the cover with the solenoids on it) Motor runs great.
Any thoughts as most likely culprit?

There should be a stat in each head, check those. Also, on top of the block, center there may be a hose coming off of an elbow or plug that goes around and down to the poppet valve. Also should be a hose running between the start.

Just thought I'd post the outcome. Both head gaskets were bad. Mercury showed the gaskets were NLA. Mechanic found some leftover dealer stock.
