1990 v6 looper head gasket replace?

1990 v6 225 looper 600 hours /when should the head gaskets be changed? compression ,cooling/plugs/all look good ran good last season, just woundering it it would be a good idea to replace head gaskets ,a lot of white chalk around heads thanks JD

Leave well enough alone. Head gaskets aren't a maintenance item, replace them when you have a reason to pull the heads.

Has this engine seen much saltwater?

I'm guessing that since your cooling is still good that it's no big deal. Maybe post a photo so the experts can see how much there is.
