Hi gang. I'm seriously considering the purchase of a Wellcraft Sanibel. It's a little smaller than my current cabin cruiser, but I like the size and layout. It's almost like a crossover between cruiser and runabout. It's the 454 with a Bravo drive, and it seems it very good condition. I have zero experience with this model of boat, or the Wellcraft brand. Just wanted to toss it out there and see what the general opinion of Wellcraft is, and if anyone knew this model in particular. I know how to assess the general condition of the boat, I was hoping to get a more broad idea of the brand and model. Any info you guys can offer is great. Thanks.

Wellcraft is a decent brand, if that is what you are asking.

Pretty similar in size and layout of my 1989 Sea Ray 220da. It really is a good mix of cruise and sport boat. The cabin is a great place for our toddlers to get out of the sun.

Thanks guys. I knew Wellcraft was considered a decent enough brand. I just find it odd that there's not a ton of info out there on this boat. If I google, Wellcraft Eclipse, for example, or Wellcraft Cobalt, I find tons of info, videos, reviews etc. When I google Wellcraft Sanibel, there's just not much that comes up. Mostly just a few classifieds. I was just curious if it was one of those models that was dropped quickly for one reason or another. Like being problematic.
