1990 Yamaha 25hp convert

I have a 1990 25hp Yamaha 2 stroke....motor was well taken care of and looks brand new.
My problem is, its a short shaft and I was wondering if it's possible and worth It to convert it to long shaft?? And if so, the cost I'm looking at.
I absolutely love this motor!!!

CL has used long shafts, IDK what a long shaft cost new, or if it would be worth it for a 2 stroke.

maybe sell it, and buy a long shaft?

I do have a 1990 35hp Force longshaft, but I don't really trust that one
Am considering trying to trade my Yamaha 25 & Force 35 for a longshaft 4 stroke 20 hp or greater.
Will be hard to part with that Yamaha tho
