1990 yamaha motor with no rebuild

need to find out who has a motor that has never been rebuilt or replaced the shims. And who has the highest miles and is still OEM.

I am referring the Yamaha V-6 3.0L DOHC "SHO" engine for the automobile....Taurus by Ford.<br />the reason I ask, 315,156 miles with no rebuild, factory bearings and shims(no adjustment needed but have been checked).....must be up there in the league of greats..<br />Am I right?<br />this is on a 1990 model....

sho,<br /><br />Yamaha only built the top end of that engine.<br /><br />You are correct though, it was a sweet one.
