I have a 1991 Riviera Cruiser I just purchased and along with a seized steering cable the previous owners must of tried to force the issue and snapped the coupler in the tilt control unit. The unit would have 2 3/8 bolts on both sides to disassemble, then the lower coupler removes with a Phillips bolt and nut through the helm shaft of the gear box. It is a Morse tlit and a morse helm drive and cable. I have seen other pics of this unit unfortunately they have all been people looking for one also. I do know they were put on different models in the 1990's

Have you replaced the cable?

It might be a better idea to replace the helm with a new one or a complete kit which includes the cable. It doesn't have to be a Morse unit.
