1991 175 Johnson on 20' Hydrasports

The top cylinder (#1) is tapping a little at high RPM (under load...not on thr trailer) and 2 cylce oil appears to be flowing back into the reservoir, leaking out bewteen the sending unit and tank and flowing into the bilge. VRO problem? Upon repair will the tapping stop? Has major damage occured to the power head?

Damage CAN occure if oil is not getting where it needs to.<br />I think we need to combine the topics, so please list the same question on your other post.
